Message from the Mayor

Rick
My Town is 108 years old and offers unique museums, walking paths, Antiquand Art Walk, a one-of-a-kind candy store, skateboard park, RV park, rodeo grounds with weekly rodeos, arena and an excellent medical facility.

It is in Southern Alberta on highway #2 south: forty minutes from Calgary, one hour from the international airport, two hours from the Canadian border, two hours from mountain skiing, thirty minutes from great mountain fly fishing and 5 minutes from a challenging golf course.

Its richness lies in character and uniqueness of its citizens. No one is ever a stranger here. Whether you come for a visit, stop by to shop or decide to live here we will say "hi" or "good day how are you" and take the time to listen; wave at you when walking along our tree-lined streets; help you clear the snow from your yard after a storm and cross the street to "just have a chat"

We are an "Authentic" community.

We willingly volunteer our time with the many organizations in town; step up-to-the plate when the community needs our help and find time to enjoy the many events held in the community with friends and family.

We are a small town with a "big heart" offering a peaceful family life style with affordable living. This is our home and when you come into our Town you will hear yourself saying "Welcome Home".

This is the place I call home.

Mayor Rick Everett
