When can I water my lawn?
The Town of Nanton believes very highly that water conservation is important for our community.
According to the Water Conservation Bylaw 1202/09, “All outdoor water use, including watering lawns, washing cars, sidewalks, pads, exteriors of buildings, recreational use of sprinklers and like water toys, is permitted, according to the following schedule:

ODD: numbered addresses may use water for these purposes Thursdays and Sundays
EVEN: numbered addressed may use water for these purposes Wednesdays and Saturdays

WATERING – may occur only during the following hours: 6:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. or 7:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.
