Agricultural Grounds
The grounds are the home of Nanton Nite Rodeo, which is held every weekend during the summer months. See the rising stars of tomorrow as they buck their way to the top of amateur ranks. Bomber Command Museum & Visitor Information Centre
Tour through the World War II Lancaster Bomber, one of only a very few left in the world. The museum was built by volunteers to honour all those associated with Bomber Command and the Commonwealth Air Training Plan, features the Lanc, along with other aircraft, WWII vehicles, displays, and memorabilia. Admission is by donation.
Canadian Grain Elevator Discovery Centre
Except for the few elevators that have been saved by industrious communities, Alberta will be elevator free before you can blink an eye. Once they are gone, they are gone.
Come tour the Grain Elevator Discovery Centre for an authentic historical experience. You will learn about the relationship between the elevator, railway, and the pioneer family and gain a great appreciation for these gigantic structures that were so important in the past. You will also see many historic artifacts on display. Our gift shop is stocked with work from local artists such as Red Skye Gallery and we have organic whole wheat flour, too.
Nanton Nite Rodeo
The Nanton Nite Rodeo is one of Canada's longest running night rodeos. Spectators are invited to the Nanton Ag Grounds for a Friday night of fast-action rodeo performed by local and regional superstars. Nanton Lion's Campground
The Nanton Campground is located alongside the Mosquito Creek on the east side of Nanton, easily accessed from Highway #533 East. This is a popular destination for tourists in Town for events being held at the Agricultural Park, baseball tournaments, golf course and community events. The Nanton Campground is privately operated.

Golf Course

The Candy Store
While in Town, give in to your temptations and stop by the Candy store. Family owned and operated since 2004, the Candy Store has attracted visitors from all over with their huge collection of nostalgic and popular candies imported from around the world. MacEwan School House Visitor Information Centre
Located on Highway 2 North, near Main Street, this little yellow school house has become a favorite place for tourists to stop. The school house was originally built in 1906 and was located northwest of Nanton and has been fully restored by the Fitzgerald Family of Nanton.
Nanton United Church Farmer's Market
The Nanton United Church Farmers’ Market is located just off of Highway 2 – Southbound at the Nanton United Church. It is a weekly event that draws crowds from all over southern Alberta. You will find fresh local and regional produce. Vendors also provide items such as honey, homemade soaps and much more. The market also hosts artisans from throughout the region selling unique crafts and clothing. The Nanton Farmer’s Market runs from mid-June to the first week of October every Saturday from 9 AM to 1 PM. Join us in Nanton where the farm comes to you!
