Help Shape the Future of Groundwater Monitoring in Southern Alberta

  • -
  • Communities in Southern Alberta have been grappling with the impacts of prolonged drought—low water levels, usage restrictions, strained ecosystems, and water supply challenges for crops.

Living Lakes Canada and Oldman Watershed Council are inviting southern Alberta residents, including those in Nanton, to share their water concerns and priorities for a new community-based groundwater monitoring initiative. This program aims to enhance water management, raise awareness of  groundwater sources, and ensure sustainable water use for future generations.

You're invited to share your input at an online community meeting on March 13 from 12-1:30 PM MT.
