The Town of Nanton is pleased to invite proposals from individuals, businesses, and organizations interested in operating the commercial kitchen and concession at the Tom Hornecker Recreation Centre. This opportunity offers the successful proponent the ability to provide concession services during the arena season while serving local user groups, tournament participants, special events, and visitors from across the region.
The Tom Hornecker Recreation Centre is a vibrant community hub, home to minor hockey, figure skating, swimming, curling, and numerous recreational and community events throughout the year. The Town is seeking a proponent who can provide quality food service, maintain a welcoming environment, and make the best possible use of the fully equipped commercial-grade kitchen. Innovative proposals that demonstrate added value, creative menu offerings, or expanded use of the facility are encouraged.
Interested proponents are invited to review the complete Request for Proposals package below, which includes detailed information on the facility, existing equipment, proposal requirements, evaluation criteria, and the anticipated licensing arrangement. Site visits are required prior to submitting a proposal and can be arranged with the Parks and Recreation Manager at jglass@nanton.ca
Proposals will be accepted until July 24, 2026, or until the opportunity is filled. The Town looks forward to receiving proposals from proponents who share a commitment to quality service and enhancing the recreational experience for our community.
