Centennial Park

Tree on park ground. The tree is casting a large shadow on the ground.

Centennial Park is located within the centre of Nanton. And is the main park facility for the town. The park includes:

  • Beautiful children's playground and green space
  • Picnic areas
  • Public washroom
  • Ball diamonds
  • Skateboard Park
  • A paved, tree-lined walking path (this is the first phase of the Millennial Pathway System)

Also, it is right next door to the Bomber Command Museum of Canada.

Centennial Park was founded from the 1967 Canada Centennial Grant, and many local groups have contributed to its improvement since then. Their generosity has been outstanding.
