As a lifelong resident of Nanton, Erin has developed a deep love and appreciation for the community and remains committed to contributing to its continued growth and prosperity while ensuring that Nanton remains a welcoming place where everyone feels heard. She grew up in Calgary and moved to Nanton at the age of 16, graduating from J.T. Foster High School. During that time, she discovered her passion for landscaping while working with Four Seasons Landscaping and began her career in customer service at Sweet Queen, gaining valuable experience while raising her three children.
As her children grew older, she returned to landscaping and, over the past several years, has maintained a strong connection to the community, regularly following Council meetings and engaging with local representatives. After returning to Nanton in 2014, she worked at the local grocery store before rejoining Sweet Queen and later began her career with TSI Yard Works in 2017, further deepening her ties to the town.
An active volunteer, she has been involved with several local groups including the Community Centre, the Grain Elevator, and Nanton Citizens on Patrol. Through these experiences, she has developed a strong belief in collaboration and community engagement. Her hands-on involvement has provided her with a well-rounded understanding of both the opportunities and challenges that Nanton faces. Dedicated to open communication and transparency, she continues to support efforts that strengthen community connections and help Nanton remain a vibrant place to live, work, and play.
